Zenaji is an Australian battery manufacturer based in Melbourne, founded in 2012 by the team behind audio specialist Involved Audio. It designs and assembles its batteries in Australia and entered the home-storage market in 2017.
Zenaji's defining choice is chemistry. Where most home batteries use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) or NMC cells, the Zenaji Aeon uses lithium titanate oxide (LTO) — a chemistry valued for cycle life, safety and tolerance of extreme temperatures. Each Aeon module holds 1.93 kWh, can be discharged to 100%, and is rated for operation from -40°C to 60°C; systems scale by adding modules, so storage can be sized in small steps rather than fixed blocks.
LTO's trade-off is well understood — it is less energy-dense and costs more per kWh than LFP, so a Zenaji system carries a higher upfront price for a given capacity. In return, Zenaji backs the Aeon with a 20-year or 22,000-cycle warranty (whichever comes first) to at least 80% retained capacity, around double the 10-year cover most rivals offer.
For Perth homeowners, the Aeon suits those who value longevity and daily deep cycling over the lowest upfront cost — for example, heavy users who cycle storage more than once a day. Confirm current pricing, module count and installer familiarity before purchasing.

Yes — Zenaji entered the Australian market in 2017, and its products are installed across Perth and Western Australia by SAA-accredited installers. Confirm local support and warranty handling with your installer before you buy.
Zenaji's home batteries use LTO cells.
WA's rebate ($130/kWh, up to $1,300) depends on the system pairing with a Synergy-approved (SSL) inverter — eligibility is set by the inverter, not the battery brand. Whether a given Zenaji system qualifies depends on the inverter it's installed with, so confirm the pairing with your installer.
Zenaji has held Clean Energy Council approved-product listings since 2017. CEC approval is required for the WA rebate and is a baseline safety and quality check.
