First issue, so the honest headline is how flat the picture is. Solar Battery Perth's curated estimate index barely moved across seven weeks of readings. It eased one percent in early August. After that, it did not move.
The list prices in our index tell the quieter story underneath. The priced part of the index skews large: three in five priced models sit in the 20 kWh-plus band, which carries the lowest median cost per kilowatt-hour.
The number that moves the most is not a price at all. It is the incentive arithmetic, which steps down on a schedule.
