Fox ESS warrants products for 10 years, covering defects if installed by accredited professionals. The warranty is void if improperly installed, modified without approval, or if not registered on the monitoring portal.

This battery is AC-coupled. To get the WA rebate, the interest-free loan, VPP payments or DEBS export credits, it needs a gateway device from Synergy's approved list (for example SMA or Redback), or an inverter and battery from the same brand (Sungrow or Fronius). Without one, exports are capped at 1.5kW.
