SolarEdge Home Hub is a central hybrid inverter that pairs with a per-panel Power Optimiser on each module. The optimisers run MPPT at the panel; the central inverter handles DC-to-AC conversion. The split keeps the per-panel reporting of a microinverter system while using one inverter for the conversion stage. The Home Hub integrates with the SolarEdge Home Battery for a single-vendor energy management stack. HD-Wave technology delivers high weighted efficiency, and the mySolarEdge app reports panel-level performance. Power Optimisers add to the bill of materials but enable SafeDC rapid shutdown and per-panel monitoring, which is the trade-off most buyers are paying for.
