The WA Battery Scheme pays $130 per kWh on the first 10 kWh, capped at $1,300. Capacities under 5 kWh receive nothing, and every capacity from 10 kWh up receives the same $1,300 — a larger battery does not earn a larger rebate. Whether a particular product qualifies also depends on it being Synergy-approved.

The GivEnergy All-In-One brings the UK company's community-focused approach to Australian homes. It combines a hybrid inverter with integrated battery storage in a single unit, with expansion available through additional battery modules. What sets GivEnergy apart is its open API and active user community. Home automation systems can integrate with the platform directly, and GivEnergy folds user feedback into software updates regularly. The result is an engaged user base that contributes to product improvement. The GivEnergy portal and app cover monitoring and control, including scheduled charging times and export limits. The interface is updated regularly, in line with the company's software-first approach. GivEnergy is still building its Australian presence (launched here in 2022) and installer network. Early installations are promising, but the long-term Australian track record is still developing. The system suits tech-savvy buyers who value active development over a long local market history.
