The WA Battery Scheme pays $130 per kWh on the first 10 kWh, capped at $1,300. The Dyness BX Tower is a modular battery system that has gained ground with Australian installers mainly because of its cost per kilowatt-hour. It uses LFP chemistry and a stackable tower design. Each module is 5.12kWh, expandable up to 20.48kWh with four modules. It communicates via CAN bus and RS485, which gives it compatibility with popular hybrid inverters from GoodWe, Sungrow, Growatt, and others. The IP55 rating supports outdoor installation in covered locations, although direct Perth summer sun should still be avoided. Dyness operates through Australian distributors rather than a direct local office. Warranty claims and technical support run through the distribution channel. That adds a step compared to brands with a direct Australian operation. The distributor network has expanded steadily since the BX Tower's 2023 Australian launch.
