From May 2026, enrolment in Synergy Battery Rewards is REQUIRED for new WA Battery Rebate applications. Pays per-kWh during activation events (Synergy estimates 6-12/yr). The default option for most WA homes.
Reality check: as of May 2026, Synergy Battery Rewards is the only practical VPP option for most WA homes — the East-Coast programs need their retailer to sell electricity on the SWIS, which only Synergy and a couple of small entrants do. From May 2026, enrolment in Synergy Battery Rewards is required to claim the WA Battery Rebate on a new install, so for most users this is a default-on choice rather than a comparison shop.
Earnings estimates assume each event exports 50–70% of battery capacity depending on program (Synergy: 50%, Tesla: 70%), and use program-published per-event rates as of May 2026. Actual earnings vary by event frequency and retailer offers. Data is curated, not live — flag a refresh if rates shift.
We'll match you with installers who handle the Synergy Battery Rewards paperwork as part of the install — no extra steps for you.
