Installer Partner Terms

To become and remain a Solar Battery Perth partner, installers must:

• Hold current Clean Energy Council (CEC) accreditation for battery storage systems
• Maintain a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) with active status
• Carry appropriate public liability insurance (minimum $10 million)
• Have no unresolved complaints with Consumer Protection WA or the CEC
• Service the Perth metropolitan area or specified regional zones
• Respond to lead enquiries within 48 business hours

Lead Delivery: Qualified leads are delivered via email and the installer portal in real-time. Each lead includes customer contact details, location, energy profile, and expressed preferences.

Response Requirements:

• Hot leads (score 70+): Initial contact within 4 business hours
• Warm leads (score 40-69): Initial contact within 24 business hours
• Standard leads: Initial contact within 48 business hours

Failure to meet response times may result in lead reallocation and reduced future lead allocation priority.

Fee Basis: Referral fees are payable when a lead progresses to a defined milestone (quote acceptance or installation commencement, as agreed in individual partner agreements).

Fee Schedule: All leads are charged at a flat rate of $30 inc GST ($27.27 ex GST) per installer, per lead.

• Shared leads (up to 3 installers): $30 inc GST per installer
• Exclusive leads (1 installer): $30 inc GST

Payment Terms: Invoices issued monthly for the prior month's conversions. Payment due within 14 days of invoice date.

Leads are allocated based on:

• Geographic match: Customer location within partner's service area
• Product capability: Partner's ability to supply requested battery brands/types
• Historical performance: Response time, conversion rate, customer feedback
• Capacity: Partner's current workload and availability

We do not guarantee exclusive leads. Multiple installers may receive the same lead to ensure customer receives competitive quotes.

Partners must not:

• Misrepresent their affiliation with Solar Battery Perth
• Use customer data for purposes other than responding to their enquiry
• Engage in high-pressure sales tactics or misleading claims
• Install non-CEC-approved products or use non-accredited installers
• Disparage Solar Battery Perth or other partner installers
• Resell or share lead information with third parties

Partners acknowledge and agree that:

• Customer data is provided solely for the purpose of responding to their enquiry
• Data must be handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles
• Partners must maintain appropriate data security measures
• Customer data must be deleted upon request or when no longer needed for legitimate business purposes
• Any data breach must be reported to Solar Battery Perth within 24 hours

Fee Disputes: Any dispute regarding referral fees must be raised within 30 days of invoice date. Disputes will be reviewed based on installer portal records and customer confirmation.

Lead Quality Disputes: Partners may flag leads as invalid (spam, incorrect contact details, outside service area) within 48 hours of receipt. Valid disputes will result in fee waiver for that lead.

Escalation: Unresolved disputes may be escalated to mediation. Each party bears their own costs unless otherwise agreed.

Term: Partnership agreements are ongoing until terminated by either party.

Termination by Partner: Partners may terminate with 30 days written notice. Outstanding fees for converted leads remain payable.

Termination by SBP: We may terminate partnerships immediately for:

• Loss of CEC accreditation or required insurance
• Sustained poor customer feedback or complaints
• Breach of prohibited conduct provisions
• Non-payment of fees for more than 30 days

Otherwise, we will provide 30 days notice. Lead allocation ceases upon termination, but obligations for previously converted leads remain.

Active partners in good standing receive:

• Qualified, pre-screened leads with energy profiles and preferences
• Lead scoring to help prioritize follow-up
• Installer portal access for lead management and conversion tracking
• Marketing co-op opportunities (subject to approval)
• Monthly performance reports and market insights
• Priority support for technical or customer issues
